The Foundation
The Palo Alto Artistic and Cultural Production Center Private Foundation was established in November 1997 with the following objectives: the promotion and management of cultural and artistic activities; the promotion of Palo Alto itself through scheduled visits by educational and other types of entities, national and international; the provision of exhibition spaces, the creation of a cultural fund and the rehabilitation of the buildings of the factory complex.
Currently, the foundation is made up of the president, the vice president and eight members, the management with executive functions and a team of six people, who are responsible for the operational management and maintenance of the space.

Functionality
The purpose of the Foundation is the management of the non-profit activity of the Palo Alto Barcelona Center, as well as the promotion and management of cultural and artistic production activities in it. The rehabilitation and adaptation of the buildings and spaces that constitute the Palo Alto Barcelona.

Nature and the environment are not an inexhaustible source of resources, and therefore their protection and rational use are necessary.
Palo Alto Foundation and the people who make it up seek to meet current needs, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs, guaranteeing the balance between economic growth, care for the environment and social well-being.
In the search for sustainable and social development, the Palo Alto Foundation carries out its own actions and/or activities that promote this, but it also collaborates with sustainable projects or actions for the benefit of people, working both with the internal companies that are part of Palo Alto Barcelona, and with external companies and entities, which help it to try to achieve this purpose.
